How is one looked at if they refuse to use WeChat in China? Or does that just make life so unnecessarily difficult that no one bothers to not delete it?
Yeah, basically. There is some fringe resistance around the real-name requirements / data collection (refugees, undocumented folks especially on the Yunnan border may struggle to set up accounts) but it's pretty much a necessity for anyone here.
